Antonio Valencia

Designer

Antonio began his architecture career in Las Vegas before pursuing a Master's degree at the University of Colorado, Denver, to deepen his expertise. During his studies, he participated in the school's design-build program, gaining hands-on experience in bridging theoretical design with practical construction techniques.

As part of the program, he contributed to Phase I of the Holt Waters Field Camp, a remote research facility for NOAA's Antarctic Ecosystem Research Division. Designed for prefabrication, lightweight construction, and minimal maintenance, the facility consists of three main buildings and a remote penguin research center. The project integrates sustainable materials, energy-efficient systems, and biophilic design principles to support research while reducing environmental impact.

Antonio explores the intersection of architecture and graphic representation, continually refining visual storytelling techniques that bring architectural ideas to life. Drawing inspiration from artists, nature, and photography, he strives to design spaces that engage our senses and create meaningful experiences.
